CRIME STOPPERS REWARD FUND

12/5/2021

Pikes Peak Crime Stoppers has announced the formation of a new fund to be used for increased rewards to tipsters for information leading to the arrest of wanted persons or to help law enforcement in solving crimes.

Rewards are an effective way to generate information from the community about crimes or wanted persons.  Larger rewards lead to more tips, which in turn leads to additional help for law enforcement.  PPACS pays rewards for information leading to an arrest or conviction. All tips received by PPACS are kept anonymous and rewards are paid in cash.

The REWARD FUND will be used to raise reward levels and offer increased rewards for information on high-profile crimes or wanted persons.

Your contribution to the CRIME STOPPERS REWARD FUND will assist PPACS in helping reduce crime.  Donations may be mailed to PPACS, P.O. Box 446, Colorado Springs, CO 80901, CLICK HERE TO DONATE TO THE REWARD FUND.

YOU can help!  All contributions are tax deductible and will support our community law enforcement agencies in reducing crime in our city.  Your generosity is greatly appreciated.

Please contribute now and help reduce crime in the Pikes Peak Region.

Pikes Peak Crime Stoppers Reward Results In Arrest Of Suspects.

10/26/2021

Colorado Springs Police, following an anonymous tip to Pikes Peak Area Crime Stoppers, arrested juveniles in connection with vandalism at Venezia Park that occurred in September. The tip included videos of the vandalism in progress which helped CSPD identify and capture the vandals.

“We are grateful that an anonymous citizen came forward to give Crime Stoppers information that could be used to solve this crime. Crime Stoppers is a valuable public service for helping law enforcement agencies solve crimes,” said Don Addy, Chairman of PPACS. The reward was offered by PPACS on September 24, 2021, and had been doubled by a citizen contribution from “Hiking” Bob Falcone.

“PPACS is a valuable tool that helps us find suspects and we appreciate their help” said Commander Sean Mandel, head of Investigations for CSPD. “Citizens often have more information about crimes than we do, and having PPACS as a way for them to share that information anonymously is very helpful” he said.
