Pikes Peak Area Crime Stoppers, Inc., is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization governed by a volunteer board of directors and staffed by citizen volunteers. Our organization is a partnership between the community, schools, the media and law enforcement agencies in the Fourth Judicial District of Colorado.   Crime Stoppers directs and manages a reporting platform and cash reward program that offers an alternative avenue for citizens to  provide information on criminal activity in the local area, while remaining anonymous.  The information citizens provide may assist law enforcement in solving crimes and protecting our community.  Pikes Peak Area Crime Stoppers relies on the generous tax deductible donations from individuals, businesses, and foundations to fund all of our community programs.

Crime Stoppers is based on the principle: "Someone other than the criminal has information that can solve a crime."

Crime Stoppers was created to combat the three major problems faced by law enforcement in obtaining information from community members:
  • Fear of REPRISAL
  • An attitude of APATHY
  • Reluctance to get INVOLVED

Crime Stoppers aims to mitigate these problems by:
  • Guaranteeing ANONYMITY to people who provide information about crimes
  • Paying REWARDS in many cases when the information supplied leads to an arrest

We Have Two Ways For You To Donate To Our General Fund:

Crime Stoppers Support Program

We will provide a Crime Stoppers window decal for businesses and individuals that sign up for our Crime Stoppers Support Program for $50 per year.  When prominently displayed, the Crime Stoppers logo may act as a deterrent to would-be criminals.  This program is available to retailers, restaurants, fast food stores, quick-stop stores, gas stations, and other businesses.

Funds collected from the support program will be used to increase the value of rewards for tips, and to expand the presence of the Crime Stoppers logo across the community.  By increasing reward value for tips and expanding distribution of this logo in retail outlets, it is expected that the number of tips will increase, thus reducing overall crime in the community.

During the credit card payment process, you'll be asked if you would prefer a sticker or a window decal.  A sticker has adhesive on the back and is used to stick onto a window or other smooth surface.  A decal has no adhesive and is used to cling to the inside of a window.  Here's what the sticker / decal looks like:
